The next and current greatest generation

Fact: 8,294. Pounds. That's 8,294 pounds of canned goods that 17 teams of UIS students collected on Halloween night. For the poor. For people who really need the food. I remember that one Illinois university was known a decade ago for its wild and largely drunken Halloween night antics. Fast forward, and now we see college students organizing themselves for service to others. It makes me optimistic about the future.
